I've Been Googled!

It's just a day or two more until the paperback of The Lady of Serpents hits bookstores -- followed about a week later by the hardcover debut of The Queen of Wolves.

Are you as nervous with excitement as I am?

And off that topic, just found that Google has a cool new feature for marketing books. In fact, their pages for my books are better than my own pages for the same book at this website!

Go here to check it out.

They list reviews, other book link associations, and I believe they have every single book I've ever had out. Very nice!

First Review Queen of Wolves

The Queen of Wolves recently received its first major review, from Publisher's Weekly. Here are the highlights (all spoilers have been taken out):

"A titanic battle that pits vampyre against vampyre in a war that will determine for eternity whether the undead will coexist with the living caps the conclusion to Clegg's majestic Vampyricon trilogy (after The Priest of Blood and The Lady of Serpents)...Clegg crafts a fitting finale ornamented with prose that modulates between the sensual and regal and that distinguishes his series as one of the more memorable modern vampire epics."

The TV Commercial(s)

Well, thanks to all of you who commented or emailed me notes with your opinions, we've used those towards creating two television commercials.

These will be shown on the Scifi channel, Spike TV, the History channel, Adult Swim/Cartoon Network, AMC, and even the Hallmark channel -- based around tv shows and movies that lend themselves a bit to those who might be interested in these books.

The concentration of the commercials is primarily the Scifi channel, and the commercials will begin running August 27th for the paperback of my novel, The Lady of Serpents.

Here are the two commercials, and each run for 30 seconds. We're going to pick one and use it, but I thought I'd show them both to you here so you could see the differences:

Help Pick the TV Commercial

I'm asking a lot of people, and tomorrow (Friday) I'll pass the responses over to the creative team that's editing the commercial for showing on the SciFi Channel in late August.

So, watch the full-length trailer (2 and a half minutes long), and let me know which scene you'd want in the 30 second commercial -- what would have the most impact, and the most "Wow!" if you had not idea about the book.

Just comment here. And thanks!
